Access and Affordability
Our founders noticed there was a need for specialized injury treatment and occupational medicine clinics in a non-hospital setting.
Originally located in Bedford, NH, as Bedford Occupational & Acute Care (BOAC) we have been treating patients for more than 25 years for worker’s compensation related injuries and performing pre-employment evaluations and testing to meet the growing needs of employers in the area. As the practice grew, we recognized the need for a second location and opened Salem Occupational & Acute Care (SOAC) soon after.
As the needs of the communities began to change, so did their medical needs. In 2011, following a change in legislation to allow for non-hospital affiliated Urgent Care centers to open, the decision was made to integrate Urgent Care services into the clinics to cater to patients’ needs for work related OR personal reasons – and ExpressMED, as we know it today, was born.
Although our locations and logos have changed, our dedication to superior customer service, quality medical care, and reducing the cost of health care remain the same. We now have three locations that we happily service our patients and communities.
